The study group consisted of 287 high school students (149 girls and 138 boys) aged between 15 and 18 years. The data were obtained by the application of Ostracism Experience Scale for the Adolescents and Self-Esteem Scale.SPSS 22.0 statistical package program was used to analyze the data. As a result of the study, it was determined that there is a negative relationship between ostracism and self-esteem in adolescents. In addition, self-esteem levels did not differ according to sex and gender.
