Abstract

Sentence is a series of meaningful words of its own expressing an expression, question, exclamation, or command. Mostly comes from the subject, the complement and the predicate. Sometimes the semantics are reinforced or expanded by clauses. The words in the sentence can be changed to express different meanings or to make the situation to be emphasized more specific. As in every language, this change in the Arabic sentence is called presentation or te'hir. All the elements of the sentence is not possible to say at the same time. In sentence, some items comes firstly, then comes some items. Presentations (Takdim) is getting an item before that must be come later in normal sentence order; postponement is to getting an item later that must be come before. In this study, the meaning of the presentation and the meaning of te'hir in terms of nahiv (grammar) will be studied.
