Arte Povera, also known as “Poor Art”, has developed in Italy since 1967 with an anti-elitist understanding and represented mainly by Mario Merz, Jannis Kounellis, Pino Pascali, Alighiero Boetti, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Giovanni Anselmo and Gilberto Zorio.
