Abstract

In this study, after considering the activities of public relations, trust and match-fixing theoretically, the loss of confidence created by the "match-fixing" crisis of 2010-2011 football super league and the methods and ways of reconstructing this trust were tried to be revealed with public relation studies that have been done. And the press releases and public disclosures on the official web pages of eight sports clubs involved in the match-fixing investigation, have been examined. As a result of the survey, the majority of supporters (80%) think thatmatch-fixing is involved in football is. It was determined that the level of confidence in federations, sports clubs, club managers and the media is in the intermediate level. it has been seen that having a good reputation among the institutions and the managers is the most important factor in their fan’s confidence.The fans hold responsible mostly the Sports Clubs and the Club Presidents during the match-fixing events ., The responsibility levels of Sports Clubs, Federations, Club Managers, on match-fixing, solving problems in soccer and sports in general came out high. After the match-fixing investigation, it was seen that the responsibilities of club presidents, federations, and clubs were high in positive and negative supporters events that appear on media.
