Abstract

The relationship between literature and other disciplines has increased, especially with socially realistic studies, and an interdisciplinary, coherent point of view has begun to increase in academic literature. The 1950s, who had come to terms as an important period in terms of Turkey's social history, were years in which important political and economic developments were experienced. In these years, a multi-party revolution has been achieved and significant changes have taken place in economic policies. In this study, the period of betting will be taken over the novel "Kadın Düşkünü", which was received by Kemal Safa Güntekin and published in İletişim Publications. In this work, Güntekin discusses the relationship between the land, the state, and the "others" from a class point of view, while the period conveys the human profile to a fluent and impressive language. The writer who conveys the classroom position of the characters in the roman through the image of "woman" gives clues about the period of Turkey at the same time. In the study, a link between literature and social policy will be established and the period will be evaluated in detail with an integrated point of view and the process of capitalism development process, the effects on the social structure, will be analyzed through the novel within a theoretical framework.
