The development of communities increases the need for security services. Internal security measures can not be taken everywhere by the general law enforcement. In order to meet this need, private security has an important role in reducing the burden of the general arm and completing the public safety. In Turkey, private security services have gained a significant momentum in ensuring public security and have gained an increasingly important place in the day. There are currently around one billion special certified security personnel in Turkey, and about one third of them are employed as private security personnel.
