Abstract

It is a very clear reality about the media and social media researches, especially when there is news in the subject, that the coverage of the findings and conclusions will be deficient if they are handled independently. News frames are built and embodied in key words, metaphors, concepts, symbols, and visual images highlighted in the news stories. Frames are found in certain features of news stories that encourage them to perceive and think in order to develop a certain understanding / conception of the event. Via the repetition, sorting and contribution of each other, the words and images contained in the frame, make it easier to recognize, understand and remember than others. Frames also express the properties of the news itself. The focus of this study is to investigate how television news is framed in social media; find out how the same news that is broadcasted on television is reproduced by the twitter account of this television channel
