Abstract

Religion and mysticism are an indisputable truth in the formation and shaping of divan literature. The religion, which contained universal provisions set by the Creator, was communicated to the prophets. From this point of view, many of the divan poets have been inspired by the content of the prophets for their various qualities, miracles, mosques and encouragements. In this work, we studied about Ruhi from Baghdad who lived in the 16th century and prominent figures of classical poetry also his lyrcs which contained prophets in it. 1115 lyrcs from the poet's divan had been analyzed from the beginning to the end, from this point we determined Ruhi’s how handled prophets, how much mentioned and which features and the miracles mentioned his couplets had been determined valued many times in the parties on the divan. In the lyrcs Adam, Noah, Jacob, Joseph, Suleiman, Eyyub, Abraham, Moses, Shu'ayb, Jesus and the last prophet Muhammad discoursed. Copy number has been given to the example couplets by abbrevialed alongside of the odes.
