Abstract
Because of the increase in technological developments and the transformation of markets into a global structure, the changes are taking place very quickly nowadays and these changes cause uncertainties. In this uncertainty environment, businesses can achieve their goals and succeed, depending on the correctness of their decisions. Businesses must make certain decisions in all their activities, and many of these decisions are strategic decisions that can affect the competitive position of the business. One of the most important of these decisions is to specify the suppliers that the businesses will work with. Supplier choice is due to being an important factor playing a role in the long-term success of the business by influencing factors such as quality, cost and customer satisfaction. For this reason, it is very important that the supplier selection decision is made with an accurate and objective approach. The exploratory study and the qualitative research method will be used for the selection of suppliers for the elector model. The researcher needs to provide background information at first. This research was carried out with the aim of ensuring that more comprehensive researches on the subject will be made in the future and that tools for the data collection of studies related to this subject will be developed again. In the first part of the study, the supplier method will be discussed; in the second part, the elective method will be examined; in the third part, the research oriented application will be included.
