Abstract

In other words, this media began to serve as a migrant worker who started to Europe in the 1960s in order to meet the news need of the expatriates in Turkish newspapers. Turkey in the first place for the printing of newspapers brought by the city of Munich in Germany with aircraft that employs the largest Turkish migration was then transported to other regions where there are dense Turkey. As time went by, the newspapers began to become permanent with the changing direction from temporary to permanent, and newspapers for the Turks in Europe started to be published by establishing print shops in Frankfurt, Germany. In the first years of immigration Turkish newspapers have begun to lose taken a considerable distance as both circulation and activity. Even so, Hürriyet newspaper, which has been in the Turkish press in Europe since its first years of immigration and has played an important role, the pressures in Europe have entered into danger. Today's sad situation of Turkish newspapers has many reasons. At the top of the first and second generation as the generation of retirees returning in Turkey and thus the reduction of generation can be demonstrated by studying Turkish. Another reason is that conventional media is adversely affected by the introduction of new media. It was also in this case that the economic troubles and news content were not shaped in the direction of the expectations of the Turks living in Europe. In this context, the purpose of the article is to investigate the current situation of the Turkish written media, which has existed in Europe for about 60 years, and to be able to learn the facts underlying the Turkish newspapers' present situation. Another aim of working together with this is to show what steps should be taken in order for the Turkish written media in Europe to reach a permanent structure in these countries, and what kind of solutions should be found for the economic, political and educational problems in which they live. The paper is structured by the method of interview technique conducted with the mainstream media, local media and television employees in Europe and within the qualitative research method. This paper also included opinions of some journalists who received articles on the Turkish media in Europe.
