Abstract

In this study, the economic policies applied in Turkey and and their results were investigated. The purpose of the study is to determine the success and the failure aspects of the applied economical policies and to figure out the results. In this context, when the period was taken into consideration, some measures were taken to increase or lighten the pressure of the war on the Turkısh economy. The most important measures taken were the declaration of some laws such as National Protection, Treasury Tax and Giving Land to The Farmers. Also some institutions were established in the country such as Trade Office and Food Supply Office. After the decleared laws and the established institutions, it was seen that the country was protected from the negative effects of the war. Nevertheless, the country faced with some difficulties during this period with the decleared laws and established institutions. Despite of these negative effects of the war, the Turkish Goverment carried out these policies with great determination.
