The data collection tools used in the research are the “personal data form” created by the researcher and the “leadership scale in sports” developed by Chelaldurai and Saleh (1980) and adapted to Turkish by Toros and Tiryaki (2006). The universe of the study is formed by athletes struggling in the Amateur football league of bartın province during the 2015-2016 season. The sample consists of 156 footballers selected according to the easy sampling method in these teams and voluntarily participated in the research. According to the findings; the average for behaviors towards training and instruction was found as 1,82±0,49; whilst their democratic behavior scores were found as 2.02±0,68; autocratic behavior scores were found as 2.81±0.91; social support scores were found as 1.98±0.55 and positive feedback scores were found as 1.86±0.59. As a result, based on the findings it was seen that the overall score averages of the research group on the sub-scales of leadership behaviors of the coach was low.},author={Murat KUL-- Abdullah BENSİZ},year={2018},journal={The Journal of Social Sciences}}
