Being experienced in the last period of Ottoman Empire and resulting in defeat, brought the consequences that drags the country into calamity. Officers who participated in the wars that took place just before the First World War, while deriving lessons their experiences also they saw how army-political relationship harmed the country. Since the establishment of the Committee of Union and Progress, the priority given to the structuring of the army continued after the capture of power by the Babıali Coup, also the political conflict and separation resulted chaos in the military was one of the main reasons of defeat. I believe that we continue to live the republican period without lecturing enough about the consequences of war which happened in our recent history.
