Honesty from the one side of the concept of honor and the woman and her sexuality on the other side to be kept equal, different interpretation of the honor attributed to the man and the woman are one of the important problems of the society we are in. While men are often expected to assume an active role, women are expected to behave appropriately in customs and to live a more passive life by community. By society, women are supposed to be excluded from the public sphere and continue their private sphere life. Nowadays, although the concept of honor, understanding of honor related to women, violence based on honor and murders committed in the name of honor become more and more controversial, scientific researches related to this issue are limited.
