One of common compositions designed by calligraphers is “Maşaallah” in Turkish islamic calligraphy. Maşaallah means “As Wants of God”.The Maşallah compositions are used for protection from evil eye. These designs are among the main subjects that calligraphers exhibit their abilities. The calligraphy artists occasionally uncover new designs, in addition, new Maşaallah designs show similar features close to the classic form.
