Abstract

Torture begins with the history of mankind. Sacred and torture are two concepts that are each other's peers. The history of torture is also the history of the sacred. The soul of the sacred remained the same, but the body changes constantly. This may be sacred, a king's body, or a priest's body. It's an empire, or is an inquisition court. It is sometimes manifested in the institutions of a state, sometimes in the form of a nation. The only thing that does not change is the legitimacy power. Every mortal who is aware of this wants to have this excellent power. When he has it, sanctifies every injustice, every war, ever torture he has practiced. The wardrobe of the West is full of the dresses of the holiness. And in every costume, can be found blood stains rest from torture.
