Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and burnout.The sample of the research is the employees of the private sector of Kırşehir. Questionnaires were applied to 180 private sector employees. In the conceptual framework part of the research, explanations were made about the concepts. The survey used the Maslach burnout scale and the Minnesota job satisfaction scale. Maslach is divided into three sub-dimensions of burnout scale exhaustion. The scales were subjected to validity analysis. Four hypotheses have been produced to examine the associations in the study. Correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used in the analysis of the data. High correlations were found between the results of the correlation analysis. As a result of the research, negatively significant relationship between desensitization and lack of personal success and job satisfaction was determined from the subscales of burnout.There was no significant relationship between emotional burnout and job satisfaction from the subscales of burnout. In addition, other studies in the literature have been investigated. Similar results were obtained in this study. As a result of the research some recommendations have been made.
