Sector's problems, trends and developments in the sector are published in various periods on these sites. In each period, some subjects are discussed or written more than others. In this study, news published in the last three years on a website serving in the field of tourism by using an algorithm based on web mining technique has been analyzed, trends and debates of the sector have been determined. For this purpose, we have created a database based on news received via CSS and HTML tags from the web site which is determined according to various criteria. After that, the most frequently repeated words were determined with the help of a software, and frequency tables were created. Based on these tables, we determined what the tourism agenda was. This method has shown us that this method can be used for find out agenda from web sites history, and we could find out Turkey-Russia Plane Crisis looking at frequency tables. As a result of research, it has been concluded that web mining technique can be used to extract information from news sites. This technique has been shown event of focused on by media such as war plane crisis between Russia and Turkey.
