Abstract

The books of the rhetoric which are explained with examples of the word and meaning arts are the books where some arts can be given with different names and classifications. Keywords: Tecrid, art, rhetoric books, definition, classification. The subjects of the rhetoric, which were taught in classical form in the madrasas in the Ottoman field until the Tanzimat, were given in schools by western method after Tanzimat and the lecture notes were converted into books. Although these books were based on Arabic rhetoric books in madrasas, they were different in form and content. These books, which are generally based on Miftah al-Ulum of Sirajuddin-i Sekkaki and its annotations or summaries, have also included new arts. One of the arts described in the rhetoric books is tecrid, and in most of the books pass in different ways according to today's description. This art has been described in two sorts: to envision an entity of something skilled; or that man uses the word of the other. Today, in this art a poet addresses him by putting himself as a separate person. He has come to the forefront with his first recipe in most of the Ottoman rhetoric books and basic books of Arabic.
