While the writers are influenced by the community they live in, they can also be the voice of the public. They can give the language an identity with the collective memory while creating it. This article begins with information regarding Abdülhak Şinasi Hisar's life and works, then moves on to scan his seven literary works to determine the most frequently used names, verbs, conjunctions and dates. The work contains the following seven works: Ali Nizami Bey’in Alafrangalığı ve Şeyhliği, Boğaziçi Mehtapları, Boğaziçi Yalıları, Çamlıca’daki Eniştemiz, Fahim Bey ve Biz, Geçmiş Zaman Fıkraları, Geçmiş Zaman Köşkleri.
