Abstract

The benefits of airline alliances to the companies in the sector are increasing day by day. With being a member of the Star Alliance in 2008, Turkish Airlines has experienced a breaking point and has reached a higher level in many ways compared to its predecessor. Turkish Airlines is flying to 309 destinations as an airline flying to the highest point in the world today. We can’t say that the alliance has little effect on this. By looking at and comparing the pre- and post-alliance data of a company, we will examine what an airline could bring to an airline and what it brings to Turkish Airlines to join the Alliance.
