Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of Turkish German students towards internet use in foreign language teaching and the level of their internet use. A Likert-type questionnaire was conducted for this study. 45 Turkish German students took part in the survey. Participants were asked how often and with what goals they use the internet when learning foreign languages, if they invent internet facilitation and what their expectations are. The data was rated frequency and percentage. The result of this work showed that the German learners only use the Internet as a dictionary and when giving up their papers. They do not try to develop themselves on the internet but they want to make use of the internet in foreign language teaching. According to these data, it can be said that it is useful to use internet as a learning material. The use of the internet can motivate the student and positively affects their success. Moreover, it can influence the lifelong learning of students.
