In order to enable people with disabilities to live like other individuals in the society, disabilities are now intertwined with society through the social policies. With the increasing average age and the increasing elderly population in the world, the disabled population also increasing. Therefore the policies on this subject are increasing with the importance given to the people with disabilities and their integration into society. The most important development for the rights of people with disabilities is the UN disability rights agreement which signed in 2006.
