In 2008, the concept of the first crypto currency emerged with Bitcoin, which was put forward by a person called Satoshi Nakamoto or a group. The core of Bitcoin is the technology called Blockchain. The interest in this area is increasing with the emergence of blockchain technology, which can be used for the processes of enterprises other than crypto currency, with its dispersed, unchangeable and transparent structure. In the coming years, it is expected that the blockchain will cause radical changes in the management and in all sub-dimensional processes. Although there are some controversies about the applicability of blockchain technology, it is thought that it can be one of the most fundamental parts of digital transformation in the near term for the enterprises. In this study, the definition of the blockchain was made, and its situation in the business world was examined in addition to the evaluation of its effects on the concept of management.
