Today's housing planning with traditional and different forms of life is different from each other due to life style, education level, satisfaction of cultural expectations, technical and technological opportunities and zoning arrangements. This study was produced from PHD thesis, which is a graduate study. The current situation of housing production forms and plan typology in the central district of İzmit, Kocaeli will be examined.
