ABDÜLKÂDİR MERÂGÎ VE KANTEMİROĞLU’NUN SES SİSTEMLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI
Abstract
In this study, the information given by Abdülkadir Meragi and Kantemiroğlu, who wrote edvar, which is known as The Musical Book of Classical Turkish Music theory, were compared as pitch systems. Before the comparisons, the development and change of the process from theorists to music culture and pitch systems were also tried to be introduced. As a result of the comparisons, Meragi and Kantemiroğlu both methodally and theoretically set out different ways of pitch system. In terms of pitch system, although they resemble each other, it is seen that they have introduced a number of different fret names.
