In this regard, translations which are made for a specific purpose can be represented as ideological translation. It shows how important the ideology is especially in the printed media texts and translations of these texts which have a great impact on public opinion. As is known, in one of the mass media newspapers which are part of our daily lives there are many ideological elements. The aim of this study is to reveal that every news text may not have an ideological discourse by analysing discourse language of newspaper within the frame of exemplary case. In this study, after the concept of news is defined, features of news text and foreign news are discussed, and also it is mentioned that how news is provided. Then following the definiton of concept of idelogy, the subject of ideology in translation is discussed. On the other hand, it has been tried to reveal that ideologies of actors who take a part in the process of creating and serving news to what extent are reflected to news and discourse. News translations which are dealt with under the field of specialized translation and how should reporter and news translators create new texts are also discussed. In accordance with the approach that social movement is the action of people who come together for a common purpose, yellow vest protest which is occurrenced in 2018, France is reviewed through a news text how to convey in Turkish and German printed media and the news in point are with Teun A. Van Dijk’s critical discourse analysis and framing method examined. Thus, the subject of ideology in transaltion is studied with an exemplary case, the translations of this case news and the ways in which are reflected.},author={Dilara KELEŞ},year={2019},journal={The Journal of Social Sciences}}
