Abstract

The word Karakeçili is the name of the goat. In our history, such as the names of hundreds of Turkmen tribes composed of adjective names, such as the names of animals, even the names of the state has been. Like Akkoyunlu - Karakoyunlu. Karakeçili asireti, the Ottoman Empire "Kayı" is a member of the neck. Tedir Kayı ”means solid, text, strong and powerful. Kayı is the biggest length of the Oghuzes and is subject to the Boz oklara. It is a community belonging to Kayı tribe from Oguz tribes and it was registered in the historical process where they belonged to Kayı tribe of Karakeçili. Karakeçililer who played a major role in the Turkification and Islamization of Anatolia, XI. century, they have made their presence felt. First of all, Keçilü congregations, and the Karakeçililer, Sarıkeçili, Teke Turkmen etc. different regions of Anatolia, such as the flow to many regions.
