A significant portion of the enterprises are small and medium sized in Turkey. When compared with the enterprises in developed countries, they are younger but have shorter lifespans. The institutionalization of these enterprises has been researched in the textile sector on how the business performance (functional performance, output performance and innovation and adaptation performance) will change. Using institutionalization and performance scales, the effect of institutionalization on performance is aimed to be explained by the regression model and its hypotheses.
