Abstract
Compulsory citizenship behavior, which is defined as the dark side of organizational citizenship behavior and objectified as the other side of the coin, has become the focus of studies in the field of organizational behavior nowadays. Although there are many studies that examine the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment, the low number of studies that examine the relationship between compulsory citizenship behavior and organizational commitment is the subject of the study. With this path, the aim of the study is to present a general frame on the relationship between compulsory citizenship behavior and organizational commitment and the role of the need to succeed in this relationship.
