Abstract

In the 1960s, minimalism was defined as art that had the greatest downfall. Minimalism has not shown its full effectiveness in these years. Minimalism began to actively show its influence in the early twentieth century. Artists in minimalism have created a unique language formation by breaking down the acceptance of time that can not go beyond traditional forms and presenting new formats with their artistic postures. The relationship between art and space began to be questioned in the twentieth century. In the twentieth century, the tendency to refine in art began to develop. As a result, minimal trends are beginning to emerge. During this period, it is seen that some artists began to express themselves using a symbolic language. In minimalism, symbols and images have revealed the work as a result of the union with the colors and forms of the artists. In this case, the road to abstract art has emerged. At the end of the purification process in art, it was achieved to reach the peak point in minimal art. In the 1960s, minimalism was a reaction to Pop Art and Op Art, based on optical illusion to the romantic attitude of abstract expressionism that emerged in the United States. Minimal painting art and painting and sculpture are seen as a great discipline in form and space. In the work we have done, we try to reveal the relation between object and space of minimal art of painting.
