The data obtained from the questionnaires were analysed using the SPSS 22.0 program in computer environment.As a result of the research, it was determined that the participants were in positive attitudes regarding the role of local economic development tourism. It was determined that there was no difference in the descriptive characteristics of the participants in terms of their gender and income from tourism. As other variables discussed in the survey; monthly income level, education status, the most important source of income in the development of the region, the region to request more tourists, tourism is important for the development of the local economic development according to the situation of citizens ' attitudes about the role of tourism has been different.
