Abstract
Bir toplumda kuşaktan kuşağa geçen, toplum üyeleri arasında manevi bağları güçlendiren her çeşit kültürel değer, alışkanlık, töre, tören, oyun, görgü, bilgi ve anane birikimi olarak ele alınabilecek olan gelenekler, ilgili toplum açısından olmazsa olmaz bir nitelik taşımakla karşımızdadır. Toplumsal alan her ne kadar değişim ve dönüşüme açık, statik olmaktan uzak dinamik bir yapı sergilese de köklü yapısı ile dün ile hali bir arada sunabilme yetisine de sahiptir. Geleneğin ve geleneğe ait unsurların mevcut görüntüsü altında yatan inançsal değerlerin tespiti, ilgili oyun, töre, tören veya ritüelin demlenme süreci içerisinde irdelenmesi, ilgili toplumun dünden beslenen bugününe ışık tutmak adına kayda değerdir. Tüm bunlardan hareketle, bu kısa çalışmada geleneksel çocuk oyunları içerisinde yer alan aşık oyununa, oyunun temel materyali olan kemik ve kemiğin kültürel arka planından hareketle yaklaşılacak, bir inancın veya sihri-mistik yaklaşımın ne suretle eğlence unsuru haline gelerek güncel form kazandığına Erzurum il örneğinden hareketle temas edilmeye çalışılacaktır.
