Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı yaşamın her döneminde ve her alanında yaşanabilecek bir sorun olan sosyal dışlanma ile benlik saygısı arasındaki ilişkiyi ergen örnekleminde incelemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu yaşları 15 ile 18 arasında değişen 287 (149 kız ve 138 erkek) lise öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Veriler Ergenler İçin Ostrasizm Deneyimleri Ölçeği ve Kendine Saygı Ölçeği aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri SPSS 22.0 istatistik paket programına aktarılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda ergenlerde sosyal dışlanma ile benlik saygısı arasında negatif ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca ergenlerde benlik saygısı düzeylerinin cinsiyete ve yaşa göre farklılaşmadığı; sosyal dışlanma düzeylerinin ise cinsiyete göre farklılaşmadığı ancak yaşa göre farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
The main goal of this study is to examine the relationship between ostracism which is a problem that can be experienced in every period of life and in different social contexts and self-esteem in adolescents. The study group consisted of 287 high school students (149 girls and 138 boys) aged between 15 and 18 years. The data were obtained by the application of Ostracism Experience Scale for the Adolescents and Self-Esteem Scale.SPSS 22.0 statistical package program was used to analyze the data. As a result of the study, it was determined that there is a negative relationship between ostracism and self-esteem in adolescents.
