Abstract
Dış ticaret ülkeleri birbirlerine yakınlaştırmakta veya aralarına mesafe koymalarına neden olmaktadır. Ülkelerin dış ticaret politikaları, ülkelerin dış ekonomik ilişkilerine ve dış politikalarına etki etmektedir. Bunun yanında dünya ekonomisinin yönlendirilmesinde etkili olan büyük ülkelerin dış ticaret politikaları da, diğer ülkeleri büyük ölçüde etkilemektedir. Özellikle işsizlik ve enflasyonla mücadele gibi iç ekonomik politikalar üzerinde dolaylı olarak dış ekonomik ilişkilerin ve dış ticaretin önemli etkileri oluşabilmektedir. Ülkeler iç ekonomik politikaları belirlerken uzun süredir dış ticareti de hesaba katmakta ve ona göre vaziyet almaktadırlar. Yürütülen dış ekonomik politikaların bir sonucu olarak, komşu ülkeler sınır ticareti adı altında dış ticaret yapmaktadırlar. Sınır ticareti, ülkelerin sınır bölgelerinin ekonomik durumunun düzeltilmesi açısından son derece önemlidir. Aslında ülke ekonomisine çok ciddi anlamda katkı sağlaması gereken ve bu güne kadar gereken önem verilmeyen sınır ticareti, iç ve dış politikalardan dolayı fazla geliştirilememiştir. Ülkemizin jeopolitik durumu göz önünde bulundurulacak olursa sınır ticaretinin gelişmesinin ekonomiyi ne kadar etkileyeceği rahatlıkla tahmin edilebilir.

Abstract
Foreign trade makes the countries get closer to each other or causes them to put some distance between themselves. The foreign trade politics of the countries also affect the foreign economic relations and foreign politics of those countries. In addition, the foreign trade politics of the big countries which are effective in orientating the world economy profoundly influence the other countries. Foreign economic relations and foreign trade may implicitly have significant influence in the domestic economic policies such as fighting against unemployment and inflation. Countries have taken into account of the foreign trade and dealt with the situations accordingly for a long time while determining their domestic economic policies. As a result of the foreign economic policies having been conducted, neighbouring countries carry out foreign trade under the name of border trade. Border trade is also vital in terms of the economic recovery of the border regions. Principally, border trade which has been expected to contribute to the country’s economy significantly and has not been regarded up until now has not yet been able to be developed due to the domestic and foreign policies. Considering the geopolitical status of our country, it is easy to be estimated that how the development of the border trade will influence the economy.
