Abstract
Bu çalışmada Behçet Necatigil’in özelde Divan şiiri geleneğinden genelde ise Türk ve Batı edebiyatı geleneğinden yararlanma biçimi; şiir, gelenek ve edebiyat konusundaki yazı ve görüşleri doğrultasında ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca sanatçının şiir yaşamı boyunca geçirdiği aşamalar üzerinde durularak hangi döneminde geleneğin şiirlerinde daha fazla yer tuttuğu sorusuna cevap aranmıştır.

Abstract
In this study the way that specifically Behçet Necatigil’s tradition of Divan poetry observance, in general from of utilization Turkish and Western literature tradition. There have been taken the writings and views on poetry, tradition and literature. Especially focused on the steps that spent throughout poetry life. It has been answered that the question about period of life of poet has more preoccupation with tradition.
