Abstract
Yoksulluk, geçmişten günümüze dek içinde yaşamakta olduğumuz dünya düzeninin derinlemesine artan en önemli sorunlarından birisidir. Günümüzde yoksul ailelerin, yoksulluk ile mücadele yöntemlerinden en önceliklisi çocuk emeği kullanımıdır. Bu nedenle yoksulluk içinde büyüyen çocuklar, sağlıklı yaşamak, büyümek ve gelişmek için gerekli olan temel ihtiyaçlarından mahrum kaldıkları gibi sokakta çalışarak çocukluk dönemlerinden de mahrum kalmaktadırlar. Bu makalede, sokakta çalışan işçi çocuk olgusu çocuk yoksulluğu bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Sokakta çalışan çocukların yaptığı işler arasında kağıt toplayıcılığı, su, simit, mendil satıcılığı, ayakkabı boyacılığı, tartıcılık yer almaktadır. Metaforik olarak kaldırım meslekleri olarak adlandırabileceğimiz çocukların sokaklarda yaptıkları, güvenceden yoksun bu tarz işler çocuk işçiler üzerinde bir çok sosyal ve psikolojik problemlere de yol açmaktadır. Bu araştırmada nicel ve nitel yöntemlerin araştırma teknikleri birlikte kullanılarak, Ankara-Sincan bölgesinde kartopu örneklem tekniği ile sokakta çalışan 100 çocukla anket yapılmış, bulgular SPSS veri analiz programı ile değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca alandan gözlem yolu ile elde edilmiş veriler ile anket dışı görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler, araştırmaya katkı amacı ile kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın son kısmında Türkiye’de çocuk yoksulluğu ve sokakta çalışan işçi çocukların sorunlarıyla ilgili çözüm yollarına ve önerilere değinilmiştir.

Abstract
Poverty is one of the deepest and growing problems of the world order we live in from day to day. Today, the most important of the poor families' methods of combating poverty is the use of child labor. For this reason, children who grow up in poverty are deprived of their childhood by working on the streets as they are deprived of their basic needs to live, grow and develop well. In this article, the issue of child poverty, which is a working child on the streets, is addressed. Among the jobs that children on the street are doing on the sidewalk, such as collecting paper, water, pretzels, handkerchiefs, shoe polish, weighing, etc. Metaphorically, these kinds of jobs that children we can call pavement professions lack in safety in the streets are leading to many social and psychological problems on child workers. In this study, the research techniques of quantitative and qualitative methods were used together and a questionnaire was made with snowball sampling technique in Ankara-Sincan region with 100 children working on the streets. The resulsts were evaluated by SPSS data analysis program. In addition, the data obtained from the field observations and the data obtained from the non-survey interviews were used with the purpose of the of contribution to the research. In the last part of the study, the solutions to the problems of child poverty in Turkey and the problems of working children working in streets have been mentioned.
