Abstract
Dedektif, katil, kurban üçgenine bağlı olarak tipikleşmiş bir anlatı yapısına sahip olan polisiye türü ilk olarak edebiyat alanında ortaya çıkmıştır. Sinemanın ortaya çıkışıyla birlikte beyazperdeye yeni bir tür kazanımı sağlayan polisiye film türünün vazgeçilmez unsuru suç kavramıdır. Hem akademik alanda hem de sektör alanında polisiye türü ile ilgili yapılan çalışmaların yetersizliği söz konusudur. Fakat son yıllarda polisiye edebiyatın ve polisiye filmin ilerleme ve gelişme kaydettiğini görmekteyiz. Bu çalışmayla polisiye edebiyat ve film türünün özellikleri ve tarihsel gelişimi incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Aynı zamanda polisiye, toplumların suç ve suçlu profilini yansıtmakta olup, bu çalışmayla suç kavramının nasıl tanımlandığı incelenecektir. Son dönemlerde Türkiye Sineması’nda çekilen polisiye filmlerde suç çeşitlerinin neler olduğu araştırılması hedeflenmektedir.

Abstract
Dedective type which has a narrative structure typified by the dedective, the murderer, the victim triangle, the first time appeared in the field of literature. The indispensable factor of the dedective film that provides a new type of the cinema along with the emergence of cinema is the conception of crime. The inadequacy of the studies on the dedective type is the point in question both in the academic field and in the sector field. However, we have seen progress and development of dedective literature and dedective film in recent years. In this study, it is aimed to be examined the features and historical development process of dedective literature and film. At the same time, the dedective type reflects crime and criminal profile of societies and also this study will examine how is defined the concept of crime.
