Abstract
Birinci Dünya Savaşı ile birlikte Avrupa’da bozulan dengeler, savaş ve etkileriyle toplumsal çöküntüler meydana gelmiştir. Avrupa için oldukça zor olan bu dönem’de Almanya’da Bauhause ekolü; sanatlar birliğini yaratmak, topluma endüstriye sanat yolu ile kazanımlar sağlamak amacıyla oluşturulmuştur. Bugünkü design (tasarım) çalışmalarının temeli olan , “Temel sanat eğitimi” nin esası ise, Bauhause bünyesinde geliştirilmiştir. Bauhause ; yaratıcı çabaları tek bir bütün halinde bir araya getirmeye çalışmış ,plastik sanatın farklı disiplinlerini heykel,resim,el sanatları ve zanaatları yeni bir mimarlığın ayrılmaz öğeleri olarak birleştirme amacıyla oluşturulmuştur. En temelinde sanatsal ve uygulamalı öğretim yaratan Bauhaus ekolünde , sanat eğitimine başlayan bütün öğrenciler için hazırlayıcı öğretim yapılmıştır. Yeni bir eğitim anlayışı ortaya koyan Bauhause’un sanat eğitimine önemli katkı ve etkileri olmuştur. Bu çalışmada ; Bauhaus ekolü ve günümüz sanat ve tasarım eğitiminin de temelini oluşturan Temel sanat eğitimine olan katkı ve etkileri üzerine araştırma ve tespitler yapılmıştır.

Abstract
Social depression occurred in the society after First World War and due to the changing balances in Europe, war and its effects. At that time, which is highly difficult for Europe, Bauhaus School was established in Germany to create an artistic union and make contributions to the society and industry through art. The principle of “basic art education”, which is the basis of today’s design works, was developed within Bauhaus. It was established to combine sculpture, painting, handcrafts and crafts, which are the different disciplines of plastic arts, as the inseparable parts of the new architecture. Bauhaus, which put forward a new education understanding, had important contributions and effects in art education. In this study, Bauhaus school and its contributions to and effect on Basic Art Education, which are the basis of today’s art and design education, was examined.
