TÜRKİYE’DE TOPLUMSAL CİNSİYET ALANINDA YAPILMIŞ LİSANSÜSTÜ TEZLERİN ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de toplumsal cinsiyete ilişkin yazılmış lisansüstü tezleri çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelemektir. Niteliksel bu çalışmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak doküman analizi, veri toplama aracı olarak ise Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler Dey’in (1993) nitel analiz aşamaları doğrultusunda incelenmiş ve içerik analiziyle desenlenmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini ise arama motorundan elde edilen 1998- 2018 yılı Temmuz ayı arası kaydı bulunan 424 tez oluşturmuştur. Çalışma iki aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. İlk aşamada ilgili veri tabanının arama motorunda “toplumsal cinsiyet” terimi tez adlarında aranmış, bulunan 424 tez kaydı yayın yılı, türü ve konusuna göre SPSS 1.7 programına yüklenerek istatistiksel hesaplamalar yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci aşamasında ise bu tezlerin (çalışmanın bu kısmına anahtar sözcüklerine ulaşılabilen 407 tez dahil edilmiştir) anahtar sözcükleri üzerinde içerik analizi yöntemi uygulanmıştır.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the post-graduate thesis (dissertations) written on gender in Turkey in terms of various variables. During this qualitative research, document analysis was used as data collection method and the database of the Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education of Turkey was used as a tool for data collection. The data gained was analyzed with Dey’s stages for qualitative analysis (1993) and the research was designed with content analysis. The research was carried out with two steps. Within the first step, the term that was searched within the titles of the dissertations was “gender”. 424 records were found and these findings were installed to SPSS 1.7 to make statistical calculations. As for the second step of the study, the keywords of these dissertations (the keywords of 407 dissertations could be gained) were analyzed with content analysis method.
