Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı, eleştirel düşünmeyi temel alan Türkçe öğretiminin üstün ve normal zeka düzeyindeki öğrencilerin erişi ve eleştirel düşünme becerilerine etkisi belirlemektir. Çalışmada, ön test ve son test desenli deneysel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinden seçilen 24 kişilik iki grup araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri Mann-Whitney U ve Wilcoxon testleri ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, hazırlanan programının üstün zekalı öğrencilerin başarılarını, eleştirel düşünme becerilerini arttırdığı gözlenmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of the study is to evaluate the effects of Turkish education based on the achievements and critical thinking levels of normal and gifted students. The study sample consisted of 5th grade students who were grouped as experimental and control groups. There were 24 students in each group. According to the study findings, the program specially designed for gifted and talented students was observed to increase the participant gifted students’ scores in achievement tests and critical thinking skills. In this sense, how the critical thinking abilities of students from various intellectual levels can be improved with different programs can be examined in the future.
