Abstract
Şehir, sadece sosyolojinin ya da yerel yönetimlerin konusu olmayıp interdisipliner bir çalışma sahasıdır. Şehrin ana unsuru olan insanı ilgilendiren her alan, şehre dair katkı sunabilir. Bu alanlardan biri olan edebiyat, insanı ele alma tarzı, mekân okumalarına dair geliştirdiği kuramsal stratejiler, muhayyileyi aktif kılan unsurları ve eşyaya bakış biçimi ile şehrin tanımlanmasını sağlayan bir bileşen olarak dikkate değer veriler sunar. Edebiyat ve şehir ilişkisi bağlamında yapılacak incelemelerin, edebiyat araştırmalarının yanı sıra mimarî, yerel yönetimler, sosyoloji gibi alanların literatüründe de bir eksikliği gidereceği düşünülmektedir. Edebiyatın kalem darbeleriyle inşa ettiği şehirlerin yeryüzündeki karşılıklarını, geleceğin şehir tasarımında uygulanabilirlikleri açısından incelemek, ruhu olan ve insan odaklı şehirlerin inşasına katkı sağlayacaktır. Örneklerin Abdülhak Şinasi Hisar metinlerinden seçileceği bu çalışma, hâfıza ve kimlik mekânlarının önemine işaret etmekle birlikte, mazi düşüncesinin refakat ettiği şehir fotoğraflarından hareketle kent estetiğine dair tespit ve öneriler ortaya koyarken, edebiyatın sosyal bilimler içindeki işlevselliğine vurgu yapmayı amaçlamaktadır.

Abstract
The city is not only the subject of sociology or local governments, but an interdisciplinary field of study. Every area that interests the human that main element of the city can contribute to the city. Literature, which is one of these fields, offers considerable value as a component that enables the identification of the city by the way it deals with people, the theoretical strategies it develops about space reading, the imaginative active elements. It is thought that the studies to be done in the context of literature and city relation will be lacking in literature of areas such as architecture, local governments, sociology as well as literature researches. Studying the the cities responses on earth of literature that have been built with pencil blows in terms of their applicability in the future city design will contribute to the building of soulful and human-oriented cities. This work, which will be chosen from the texts of Abdülhak Şinasi Hisar, aims to emphasize the function of literature in social sciences while pointing out the importance of the acclaimed and identity spaces and revealing the suggestions and proposals about urban aesthetics from the photographs of the city accompanied by the past thought.
