Abstract
Renkler, hayatımızın her anında var olan ve sembolik anlamları da içerisinde barındıran unsurlardır. Cemal Süreya’nın şiirlerinde renklerin kullanımı çağrışım değerleriyle birlikte zengin bir içerik barındırmaktadır. Kırmızı, şairin şiirlerinde yoğun şekilde kullanımı olan bir renktir. Kırmızı, sadece bir renk olarak şiirlerde yer almamaktadır. Aynı zamanda cinselliğin, aşkın, heyecanın ve tutkunun rengi olarak birçok anlama karşılık gelecek şekilde bir kullanım değerine sahiptir. Sanatçının şiirlerinde kırmızı rengin anlam dünyasını, çağrışım değerlerini şiirlerinden hareketle açıklamak Cemal Süreya’ya farklı bir pencereden bakma imkânı sunacaktır. Kırmızı rengin doğrudan kullanımı ve kırmızıyı çağrıştıran sözcüklerin şiirin iç yapısı içerisinde değerlendirilmesi bu çalışmanın temel amacını oluşturmaktadır.

Abstract
Colors are the elements that exist in every moment of our lives and contain symbolic meanings. The use of colors in Cemal Süreya's poems has a rich content with the values of connotation. Red is a color which is used extensively in the poet's poems. Red is not only included in poems as a color. It also has a value of use, which corresponds to many meanings as the color of sexuality, love, excitement and passion. To explain the values of The use of colors in Cemal Süreya's poems has a rich content with the values of connotation and the meaning of red color in the poems of the artist offer the possibility from a different window to Cemal Süreya. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the direct use of red color and the words of red in the inner structure of the poem.
