Abstract


SPORTS EDUCATION RELATION ACCORDING TO DIFFERENT GROUPS
The aim of the study is to reveal the opinions and differences of the effects of different groups of people on the effects of sports on education. A total of 1000 subjects including students, teachers, tradesmen, amateur and pro-fessional athletes and 200 subjects from each group were interviewed with the same ques-tions. The participants were asked about their opinions about their contribution to social development, spiritual development, problem solving, productivity, adoption as an educa-tional tool, personality development, academic success and social peace. The survey was conducted in Kahramanmaras and Ankara provinces. The results were statistically evalua-ted in both numerical and%. Since a sufficient number of female athletes could not be fo-und, women were not included in the assessment. As a result, it is understood that groups do not know enough about the educational and social aspects of sports and their benefits. It is seen that the sport, which plays an im-portant role in human education with its contributions from the theoretical perspective, does not take place at the same level in practice. In other words, according to the functions of sports, there are differences according to the occupational groups, there are those who say that the contribution to education is limited, as well as those who say.
