Abstract
1896-1901 tarihleri arasında varlığını sürdüren Servet-i Fünun topluluğu, Tanzimat’tan itibaren yönünü Batı’ya çeviren Türk edebiyatı tarihinde önemli bir kavşak noktasıdır. Şiirde Cenap Şehabettin ve Tevfik Fikret’in öne çıktığı Servet-i Fünun topluluğunda roman sahasının en önemli ismi Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil’dir. Uşaklıgil’in dönemine ayna tutan Mai ve Siyah romanı bir şairin hayat hikâyesini anlatmasının yanı sıra içinde bulunduğu topluluğun poetikasını da yansıtması bakımından dikkat çekicidir. Ahmet Cemil karakteriyle Türk edebiyatı tarihinde önemli bir yere sahip olan Mai ve Siyah romanı, söz konusu bu topluluğun hem kişisel özelliklerini hem de edebiyata dair görüşlerini yansıtır. Döneminde ve döneminden sonra da adından sıkça bahsettiren Tevfik Fikret, Mai ve Siyah romanının başkarakteri Ahmet Cemil’le pek çok konuda ortak özellik sergiler. Fikret’in düz yazılarında kaleme aldığı görüşleri, birçok konuda Mai ve Siyah’ta Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil tarafından roman diline uyarlanarak Ahmet Cemil karakteriyle okuyucuya aktarılmıştır. Bu çalışmada da roman karakteri şair Ahmet Cemil’le Tevfik Fikret’in ortak şiir görüşleri karşılaştırılmaya çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
Servet-i Fünun is an important crossroad in the history of Turkish literature that was existed between 1896 to 1901 and has turned its direction to the Western since Tanzimat. Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil is the most prominent name in the novel genre and Cenap Şehabettin along with Tevfik Fikret come to the fore in poems. The novel Mai ve Siyah, which reflects the period of Uşaklıgil, is a remarkable piece of work that demonstrates the poetics of the community while telling the life story of a poet. The novel Mai ve Siyah, which has an important place in the history of Turkish literature under the character of Ahmet Cemil, reflects both the personal characteristics of this group and their views in literature. Tevfik Fikret, whose name is frequently mentioned during and after this period, illustrates common features in many subjects with Ahmet Cemil, the protagonist of Mai ve Siyah. The views that are written out in Fikret’s proses has been narrated by Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil in Mai ve Siyah by adapting into prose with the characted created, Ahmet Cemil. In this study, the novel character as well as the poet Ahmet Cemil along with Tevfik Fikret 's common poetic views will be compared.
