TÜRKÇE’NİN SÖZ VARLIĞI VE KELİME SIKLIĞI (“GÖZYAŞI ÇEŞMESİ-KIRIM’DA SON DÜĞÜN” ADLI TARİHÎ ROMAN ÖRNEKLEMİNDE)

Abstract
Bir dilin söz varlığı onun teminatı ve gelişmişlik göstergesidir. Dilin doğası gereği hem yapısal hem de anlamsal durumları ifade etmesi sebebiyle çok yönlüdür. Başlangıçta dildeki sözcükleri bir araya toplayan sözlük çalışmaları yapılmış, bunların telaffuzu üzerinde durulmuş ve bu şekilde dil muhafaza edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmaların fazla zaman alması, dilin sürekli değişen bir yapısının olması, dilbiliminde yaşanan gelişmeler bazı özel çalışmaları beraberinde getirmiştir. Edebi metinlerin kelime sıklığı, söz varlığı, tematik sözlüklerinin hazırlanıp incelenmesi bunlardan biridir. Toplumların dilsel birikimlerinin oluşmasında ve işlenmesinde dilde belli bir yetkinliğe ulaşmış yazarların katkısı oldukça fazladır. Bunlar üzerine yapılacak söz varlığı çalışmaları hem dilin geneli hakkında veriler elde etmemizi sağlayacak hem de yazarı daha iyi anlayıp çözümleyebilmemizi sağlayacaktır. Roman ve hikâyeleriyle Türkçeyi kullanmadaki başarısını ortaya koymuş olan Sevinç Çokum’un “Gözyaşı Çeşmesi-Kırım’da Son Düğün” romanı üzerine yapmış olduğumuz söz varlığı çalışması sayesinde romanın kelime sıklığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada romanda geçen en sık kullanılan isimler ve fiillerin Türkçede en sık kullanılan sözcüklerle örtüştüğü, az sıklıkta geçen sözcüklerin yazarın özel kullanımlarını sergilediği, deyim ve ikilemeler yönünden zengin bir kullanımın olduğu görülmüştür.

Abstract
Vocabulary of a language is its guarantee and indicator of development. Due to the nature of language, it is versatile because it expresses both structural and semantic situations. In the beginning, dictionary studies were carried out that gathered the words in the language, their pronunciation was emphasized and the language was tried to be preserved in this way. The fact that these studies took a lot of time, that the language had a constantly changing structure, and that new developments in linguistics led to some special studies. Word frequency studies on literary texts, vocabulary determinations, preparation of thematic dictionaries are among these special studies. The contribution of writers who have reached a certain level of language competence in the formation and processing of the linguistic accumulation of societies is quite high. Vocabulary studies on these will not only enable us to obtain data about the language in general, but also enable us to better understand and analyze the author. Thanks to the vocabulary work we have done on the novel "Gözyaşı Çeşmesi-Kırım’da Son Düğün" by Sevinç Çokum, who has demonstrated his success in using Turkish with his novels and stories, the word frequency of the novel has been determined. In this study, it has been determined that the most frequently used nouns and verbs in the novel overlap with the most frequently used words in Turkish, and the less frequently used words exhibit the author's special uses. It has been determined that idioms, duplications are frequently used in the novel.
