MADDE BAĞIMLILIĞI TEDAVİSİ GÖRMÜŞ BİREYLERİN GÖZÜNDEN MADDE KULLANIMI: NEDENLER, TEDAVİ SÜREÇLERİ VE TOPLUMLA BÜTÜNLEŞME

Abstract
Madde bağımlılığı hem bireysel hem de toplumsal düzeyde sonuçları olan çok katmanlı bir sorundur. Bu çalışmanın amacı; madde bağımlılığı tedavisi gören bireylerin bakış açısıyla madde bağımlılığının nedenlerini, sosyal çevre ve madde kullanımı arasındaki ilişkiyi ve tedavi deneyimlerini çok yönlü olarak bütüncül bir şekilde ele almaktır. Çalışma kapsamında AMATEM’de tedavi gören 18 katılımcı ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, bireyleri madde kullanımına iten bireysel ve toplumsal faktörler bulunmaktadır. Madde bağımlılığı tedavisi görmüş bireylerin farklı eğitim, meslek ve gelir durumuna sahip olması bağımlılığın toplumun bütün kesimleri için risk oluşturduğunu göstermektedir. Katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğu son yıllarda madde kullanımının yaygınlaştığını dile getirmiştir. Madde kullanan bireyler; aile, arkadaş çevresi, eğitim, iş, sağlık, ekonomi, suça karışma ve damgalanma alanında sorunlar yaşadıklarını ifade etmişlerdir. Katılımcılar madde bağımlılığını önleme, bağımlılıktan kurtulma ve tedavi sonrası toplumla yeniden bütünleşmeye dair önerilerde bulunmuşlardır.

Abstract
Substance addiction is a multi-layered problem with both individual and social consequences. The aim of this study is to address the causes of substance addiction, the relationship between the social environment and substance use; and treatment experiences in a multidimensional and holistic manner from the perspective of individuals undergoing substance addiction treatment. Within the scope of the study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 18 participants receiving treatment in AMATEM. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. According to the findings of the study, there are individual and social factors that push individuals to substance abuse. The fact that individuals who have been treated for substance addiction have different educational, occupational and income status shows that addiction poses a risk for all segments of society. The majority of the participants stated that substance use has become widespread in recent years. Individuals who use substances stated that they experience problems in the areas of family, friends, education, work, health, economy, involvement in crime and stigmatization. Participants made suggestions on prevention of substance addiction, recovery from addiction and reintegration into society after treatment.
