THE MUSICAL ANALYSIS OF QUR'AN RECITATION (FATIH COLLAK'S RECITATION OF SURAH AL FATIHA)

Abstract
This study deals with Surah al-Fatiha which Fatih Çollak is recited in Ushak (Uşşak) maqam. The recitation of Qur’an has not been studied seriously so far in context of maqam/music. By this means, the recitations of Qur’an will be possible to evaluate musically. In the universe of our research there is Qur’an-music relation, in the sampling area there is Surah al-Fatiha which is recited in Ushak maqam. A Surah al-Fatiha in Ushak maqam was recorded in interview with Collak. This record is taken to the note and it is revealed how it follow the general lines of this notes. Immediately after, with the digital analysis programs in the computer environment, the sent values and correspondingly the range calculations has been made. Thus, the comparison of the ranges in practice with the theoretical range is provided. Finally, it is aimed to be a model by developing a poly staff writing principle in the notation program for the transcription studies that will be done.
