KAMU PERSONELİ SEÇME SINAVI BİYOLOJİ ÖĞRETMENLİĞİ ALAN BİLGİSİ TESTİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ (2013- 2018)

Abstract
Öğretmen yetiştiren yüksek öğretim kurumundan mezun olanlar öğretmen olarak atanmak isteyen adayların görev almak için Kamu Personeli Seçme Sınavı (KPSS) adı ile düzenlenen sınava katılması gerekir. Bu çalışmada nitel bir yöntem olan içerik analizi ile belli bir metnin özelliklerini sayısallaştırarak incelenmesini sağlayan doküman incelenmesi kullanılmıştır (Ayaş, Çepni, Johnson ve Turgut, 1997). Bu araştırmada döküman tarama tekniği kullanılmıştır. KPSS 2013- 2018 yılları arasında sorulan biyoloji öğretmenliği alan bilgisi sorularına ÖSYM’nin resmi internet sitesinden ulaşılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı 2013 yılından 2018 yılına kadar geçen süreçte Kamu Personeli Seçme Sınavı Biyoloji Öğretmenliği Alan Bilgisi Testinin değerlendirilmesini yapmaktır. Bu amaç kapsamında sınav kapsamında konular ve öğrencilerin netlerine bakılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda sorulan soruların programla uygun olduğu, biyoloji öğretmenlerinin başarı ortalamalarının 5 yılda çok değişmediği genellikle 16 ile 21 net arasında olduğu belirlenmiştir. En yüksek biyoloji netinin 21,180 netle 2017 yılında, en düşük ortalamanın 12,899 netle 2015 yılında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yine diğer sayısal branşlar arasında (Fen ve Teknoloji, Matematik, Fizik ve Kimya) ortalamalara bakıldığında 2017 yılında en yüksek netin biyoloji alanında iken, 2015 yılında en düşük ortalamanın biyoloji branşında olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Candidates who are graduates of higher education institutions who train teachers can be appointed as teachers and they should take the exam held under the name of Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS). In this study, a qualitative method was used to analyze the properties of a particular text by analyzing the content of the document (Ayaş, Çepni, Johnson and Turgut, 1997). In this study, document scanning technique was used. The questions of biology teacher field knowledge asked between 2013-2020 were obtained from the official website of the OSYM. The aim of this study is to evaluate Public Personnel Selection Examination Biology Teacher Field Knowledge Test in the period from 2013 to 2018. It was determined that the questions asked at the end of the study were appropriate with the program, and the success average of the biology teachers was not changed much in 5 years and it was generally between 16 and 21 net. The highest biology net was determined to be 21,180 net in 2017 and the lowest average was 12,899 net in 2015. When the averages of the other digital branches (Science and Technology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) were examined, it was determined that the highest net was in biology field in 2017, while the lowest average was in biology branch in 2015.
