Abstract
Sanatçılar, toplumda var olduğundan beri kültür yaratıcısı olarak içinde bulunduğu çağın ruhunu yansıtan eserlerini, doğayı keşfedip daha sonra ise iç dünyalarını çeşitli imgeler kullanarak, doğa ve düşlediği detaylarla beraber biçim ya da renge anlamlar yükleyerek tasvir etmişlerdir. İmgelere yüklemiş oldukları anlamlar sembol, metafor ve alegori dediğimiz bilinçte var olup simgeleşen ifade biçimleri ile mümkün olmuştur. Bu kavramlar (sembol, metafor ve alegori) çoğunlukla Çağdaş Türk resim sanatında, D Grubu, Yeniler Grubu ve Onlar Grubu’nun sanatçılarında görüldüğü için tercih edilmiştir. Araştırma ile bu kavramların ayrı birer anlamı içerdiği ve oluşabilecek anlam karmaşasını önlemek amaçlanmaktadır. Alan literatürü içerisinde bu karmaşıklığın önüne geçilmesi açısından bu araştırma önemli görülmüştür. Araştırmanın sınırlılığı D Grubu, Yeniler Grubu ve Onlar Grubu’nun sanatçıları ve birer eserleri olarak belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca sanat eserlerini yorumlamak için Erwin Panofsky’nin İkonoloji çizelgesi resim analiz yöntemi olarak kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak sanatçılar bu kavramları duygu ve düşüncelerini aktarmak için sanatsal bir ifade aracı olarak kullanmışlardır.

Abstract
Artists, as the creator of culture since the results have existed, explore the pieces of the visuals of the era, nature, and then approving their inner world by using various images, together with nature and the explanations they dream of, or by attributing meanings to color. The meanings they attribute to the images have been made possible by the forms of expression that exist in the consciousness that we call symbols, metaphors and allegories. These concepts (symbol, metaphor and allegory) have been preferred because they are mostly seen in Contemporary Turkish painting, the artists of Group D, Yeniler Group and Onlar Group. With the research, it is aimed to prevent the semantic confusion that may occur and that these concepts each have a separate meaning. This research is considered important in terms of preventing this complexity in the field literature. The limitations of the research were determined as the artists and works of Group D, Yeniler Group and They Group. In addition, Erwin Panofsky's Iconology chart was used as a painting analysis method to interpret the artworks. As a result, artists have used these concepts as an artistic expression tool to convey their feelings and thoughts.
